Spielberg to create a movie from beloved 1980's TV show
E! Online - 2 hours ago

Oscar-winning director Steven Spielberg is looking to remake the TV series Small Wonder for his next big movie project.

Small Wonder was a sitcom about a family who has a robot daughter. Ted Lawson, an engineer at a huge robotics firm, brings home a project that he is working on: a robot in the shape of a 10-year-old girl. The robot was a Voice Input Child Indenticant, but was nicknamed Vicki for short. They tried to keep the fact that Vicki was a robot from the entire world.

Spielberg's representative confirms the director is looking at Fanning as the lead Vikki.

I forgot all about April Fool's, but if you really wanted to mess with people, tell them Uwe Boll is directing Metal Gear or something.

We can only hope. Being that this is my first year here, I was wondering if there would be any April Fools listings. At least this one was obvious. Everyone knows Spielberg has his hands full with that Obelisk project.

Me either. The source is always "this guy I know" or IMDB...pretty much the same thing.
