Except for the scenes with Marissa and Upchuck, this was actually a really funny episode. Almost reminiscent of Season 1.

Seth: I have a 6-pack
Summer: Cohen, those are your ribs

gosh, Rachel Bilson is so funny. If it weren't for her and Nikki Reed, I'd stop watching...

Not too horrible tonight, methinks. I really wish that Marissa wasn't always the de facto fuck up who is easily prone to falling off the wagon at the slightest fork in the road, or start doing drugs now. She is almost mirroring Jennie Garth/Kelly Taylor on 90210 at this point, how she started doing coke with that Colin dude and just always seemed to have everything bad that happened on the show happen to her (frat house fire, Tara the psycho, the David Koresh teacher, etc.)

If they are going to send Marissa on yet another downward spiral, my only hope is that Ryan meant what he said to Voltron, that he isn't going to bail her ass out anymore. I am really liking the developing relationship with Sadie, and it would be nice to just see him cut Marissa loose for a while at least.

My one real bitch with tonight's ep: no Taylor Townsend. That's a no no-they need to get her more involved on a regular basis.

At least the other characters seem to be as annoyed with Marissa as the audience for once.

Bilson and Brody were in top form.

But Julie is in a funk, which means she needs her trailer and a some Skoal.

One of the better eps I've seen in a while. Glad to see Ryan cutting the cord with being everyone else's savior (especially Marissa) - and finally looking out for his own interests/happiness for a change.

But as usual, that will only last one or two episodes when he fights Volchek again and saves the day for Marissa.

Just wish the producers would give Marissa the "Johnny treatment" and have her fall off a cliff too!
