Costco prices for the next two weeks....YMMV

First of all, lemme say...

Blade, COME BACK!

Now that that's out of the way...

Last night I was at my unfriendly neighborhood Costco, and while checking out the latest DVDs, I saw...."the list". On it, it had all of the upcoming discs that they're getting for the next two weeks. "Borrowing it indefinitely" went through my mind [it's just a printed piece of paper, surely they could just print another one...], but the way my week's been going, i'd probably get caught and banned from the store. So, I just decided to snap some pics with my trusty Nokia. This thread would've been started last night/this morning, but unfortunately, my desktop decided it didn't want to recognize my phone anymore. Which meant I had to activate the bluetooth feature of my laptop [which was a pain in the ass itself..].

End result? Without further ado..

April 4th
  • Chronicles Of Narnia - 18.99/18.39

  • Chronicles Of Narnia - SE 25.99/24.99

  • A-Team, Knight Rider & Magnum PI 31.59/30.29

  • Glamour Girls Collection 17.99

  • Brokeback Mountain 18.99/18.39

  • Sesame Beginnings 8.99

  • April Catalog 5.89

  • Critics Choice 18.59/17.99

  • Billy Graham God's Ambassador 12.49/11.99

  • Mel Brooks Collection 62.49/59.89

  • Liza With A Z 17.99

April 11th
  • the Greatest Game Ever Played 18.99/18.39

  • Pooh's Grand Adventure 18.99/18.39

  • Nick Assortment - Dora 10.99

  • Mission Impossible Collection 16.99

  • Laurel & Hardy Collection 21.99/21.19

  • Classic Cartoon Favorites 8.99

  • Fun With Dick And Jane 2pk 22.59/21.69

  • An Unfinished Life 18.99/18.39

  • the Merv Griffin Show 20.99/20.59

  • Billy Graham Presents

Now, I have no idea why there are two sets of prices for some, but that's everything that was on "the list". I'm going to assume that the "Dick And Jane 2pk" will be the original and remake. Then again, who knows. I also don't know what the vague titles like "Critics choice" and "April Catalog" will be.

Hopes this helps.

Oh, and South Park is still full price.

The dual prices are probably for the different regions they have. Blade often showed 2 prices depending on location. For example, the SoCal locations I've been to always have the higher price.

I agree with you. In my area, Westchester County, New York there are three Costcos. Two of them charge the higher price and one charges the lower price. I asked once at one of the stores that charge more why they did charge more and was told that sometimes that store charged less than the other store. I never found this to be true.

Very cool post, thanks. I assume that the Glamour Girls Collection is actually the 3 Universal sets featuring Carole lombard, Marlene Dietrich, and May West? $17.99 has to be the price for them individually, not bundled together, as I first hoped.

Anyhow, thanks

With the $5 off coupons that came in the S3 sets for a-team, knight rider and magnum that turns out to be a great deal at costco if you use the coupon on top of their low price. Problem is finding them in stock at costco.

Can you use those coupons at Costco? I didn't think you could.
