Hundreds of different scenes?

Hmmm...i KNOW I remember seeing that someplace. I remember the Star Wars Holiday Special being RIGHT next to it on the shelf.

Never heard of it. There's a 2-disc set that has deleted scenes and the usual extras, but that "workprint edition" is either a fanboy's edit or a dream.

There's no such thing. Here's a quote from Amazon udner the trivia section for this movie's single-disc release:

"The workprint for this film ran about 153 minutes. It featured all of the deleted/alternate scenes from the DVD, small scenes/lines not included on the DVD (such as the "blow up baggage" sequence seen in one of the behind-the-scenes documentaries), completely different feel to the narration and almost no Dust Brothers music. Where there was music, it was nothing like the music used for the final film. Overall, this version of the film had a lot different mood from the final."

There's a bootleg available...but that's it. I've never seen it though I know several people who have it.

Its not a dream!I have seen the workprint (RSF) comparison with the standard (NF) official edition which shows many many differences (around 127 scenes!).

Code:
Mod edit: link removed
The (NF-Fassung) is the official European/US version and Leatherface (author) compared it with the "Workprint" edition.I do understand lots of the german and it seem to be a official film!

Again...it's obvious that it's a pretty poor bootleg DVD. Look at the pictures! It was taken from a very bad VHS...which has been circulating for years.

IMHO it seems to be a bootleg. If anyone can offer evidence to the contrary please feel free to drop me an email.
