Can someone help with the name of this movie

I seen this movie a WHILE back when I was a kid and I never knew what the name of this movie was and I really need the name because I want this movie.

Ok here is how the movie goes there was a man that would break into women apartment/houses and take pictures of there walls and go back to his place and paint himself the exact way the wall looked. Then he would go back into the apartment and hide against the wall and wait for the woman/women to return home. He would then throw his voice around the house to confuse them and when they least expected it he would kill them because he was able to sneak up behind them.

This is pretty much how I remember and I would love the name of that movie.

Welcome to DVDtalk Please take the time to look around and see the various forums/discussion areas we have. Requests w/ generally movie help like this go to the Movie Forum (it helps keep the main forum focused primarily on DVDs ). Unfortunately I have no idea what the movie is but hopefully someone there will recognize it. Anyway I just wanted to say welcome and explain why the post was moved...

Kind of an odd idea for a film. Is the movie any good?

This is the IMDB entry for that movie: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0108556/

Don't know if it's the one being searched for.

But the movie described in the OP has to be one of the dumbest ideas I've ever heard of. Painting yourself to blend with a wall??? What, like someone wouldn't notice the lummp, painted or not. Just ridiculous.

I remember that. Wasn't that made for Showtime? I remeber it being pretty bad. Although, the wall blinking was kind of creepy.

It is definitely "When a Stranger Calls Back", of which only the long opening scene is terrific.

Looking at the reviews on Amazon, it seems like this may be a pretty good movie. I might put it in my que.
