From Box Sets to OOP...the most treasured gem in your collection thread! (with pics)
It can be anything...a box set from a foreign land that looks real cool or that rare, OOP that you just love is in YOUR collection. Perhaps, it is just your favorite movie of all time. So brag a little (it's ok this time) and let's see them...
What DVD in your collection do you covet most???
Even though i have a couple expensive rarities and i do love them, the ones (the two) that i truly cherish are...
"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" The Chosen Collection ...I've had such a love affair for this show that i was more than ecstatic when this collection was released. to have the entire series in such a great looking package was a true fan's delight.
"King Kong" (1933) 2-Disc Collector's Tin...i just love looking at this high quality tin that holds a classic film which i will be enjoying for the first time this night.

DVD Talk Limited Edition
I ♥ my 10 seasons of Friends even more now that I finally have that cool box to display them in. I also ♥ my complete collections of some of my other favorite TV shows of all time, like the original Twilight Zone, and many more.

DVD Talk Limited Edition
High Plains Drifter (the orignal release with the cool cover art) and the WB box sets I have and my western collection and the noir's and my Walmart bargain bin sized collection of cheap titles that I might get around to watching before I die, not likely.

About 3 days ago it was My So-Called Life (but I'm currently selling it on ebay), so now it is Dances with Wolves Theatrical Cut (with full bitrate DTS) and/or Robocop Criterion

I love every autographed DVD that I have, since they all have sentimental value and mark a time that I met a celebrity. Of the bunch, though, this one is my favorite:
My entry for my favorite DVD that's not signed would have to be:
It was one of my very favorite movies as a youngster when it first came out, and when I got into the DVD hobby it quickly became my most wanted title. I waited for a couple of years before it ever got a release. It was well worth the wait, though. I'll never forget how thrilled I was when I first read the announcement here that Criterion was going to add it to their collection. Not only is it getting a DVD release, but it's getting a proper release from, in my opinion, the best possible company. It's no longer my favorite movie. It's not the best release in the world, or even anywhere near the best in Criterion's collection, but all things considered it's easily my pick.

I love the way my R2 Buffy sets look. I have Seasons 4-7 (for 1-3, I have the U.S. versions). I got 4-7 from R2 for the widescreen (please don't start that fight again ).
The picture doesn't do it justice. The inner part opens like a book with separate sleeves for each disc. They are gorgeous.

I've been fortunate to land a few foreign limited edition sets that get me jacked up whenever I see them displayed - on or off TV. A couple of them are no longer available except on the aftermarket ...
Some Pixar goodness from Japan (Two of my favorite US animated films ever):
The Incredibles R2 LE
Monsters Inc. R2 LE
Call me an Oshii fanboy as these are some of my favorite films, animated or otherwise excellently presented through the DVD medium:
Innocence R2 First Pressing LE Tin
Ghost in the Shell R2 LE
Avalon R3 SE [Full Bit DTS]
Finally, we've all been given a true anamorphic release of Lost Highway and although the picture still suffers, it has a very good surround sound mix for a film of its age. It also has one of the best OSTs of any film IMHO:
Lost Highway R2 French MK2 release
Of course as with everything DVD, I could not just pick one or two
