48% off selected Universal & Buena Vista titles at DeepDiscount

Sale on $19.95 titles - $10.44 each.

Universal DVDs:

http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com/studi...ioId=36&page=1

Buena Vista DVDs:

http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com/studi...ioId=17&page=1

Some good titles in these lists and it comes out a little cheaper than their 20% off sale.

Great prices for the Abbott & Costello discs. I picked up volume 3, which has in my opinion, their funniest film, Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein.

Fortunately ... I didn't see anything ... that I didn't already have ... that I couldn't live w/o ...

I started to get a couple of the '50s Disney movies (i.e. The Great Locomotive Chase) ... but after reading how bad the quality was ... I decided to pass ... you would think with a $20 list price that you would (should) get a quality product ...

Do we know if that Babe release contains the widescreen version of the first film? I know the sequel has both wide and full but there were multiple versions of the original and I can't seem to figure out what this double feature actually contains....

On a different note... Belle de Jour for $10.

$10.44 for the Zatoichi/Sonatine two-pack is a great price and I can easily recommend both of those films.

These are a tad better price than CC's $9.99 sales for the same titles (tax) - about 30 cents but still....

I'll wait until next week to see if Digital Eyes matches this sale as they sometimes do, probably for 10.99 but the coupons and buyer points more than make up the difference.

I see a lot that I already have and in retrospect, wish I had waited on. These sales are encouraging. I'm hoping for a WB one, myself.
