Don't make me angry again Universal. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry

I hope Universal will release this set with a "lenticular" cover. If there ever was a title that it would be perfect for, this would be it. I have posted a cover design I created at:
http://home.mn.rr.com/starvinmarvin/..._S1_DVD_LR.jpg
It would be cool holding the cover and watching Bixby "transform" into The Hulk -- and back again. A lenticular cover would be so appropriate for this show, rather than just a packaging gimmick.
I e-mailed the cover to HULK creator Kenneth Johnson. The good news: Kenny replied minutes later saying he thinks the cover is cool. The bad news: when asked if he's involved with the set, he said "I have offered my services (to Universal), but they have yet to respond".
Typical Universal. Hopefully, there's still time for Kenny -- and Lou Ferrigno -- to become involved. Universal really needs to be bombarded with e-mails and letters encouraging them to make this a great release.

I'll wait until we get it here in r2, on sensible DVD-9 discs that actually play properly.

Depending on how well the first season set sells and Universal's willingness to continue to the rest of the season sets, you might want to hold on to the best-of collection for now. Some of my favorite episodes, like "Prometheus" and "The First" are from the fourth season.
The only episode from the first season on the best-of set is "747."
