breaking in new speakers

Hi, I just bought a new set of speakers for HT. I see the instructions talk about "breaking in" the speakers for about 50 hours. I just started this by popping in an old Earth Wind & Fire CD that's playing "Boogie Wonderland" on repeat since it has horns and other types of instruments. I figure tomorrow I'll pop in Sgt. Pepper's.

What types of songs did you use for the break in? Should I be using certain types of music (opera, classical, rock)? Thanks.

If you have access to Stereophile's test CDs, use the pink noise track in repeat mode. Make sure you leave the house though!

You don't need to 'break them in' before you listen to them - just use them as normal.
