Watched The Elephant Man last week. It got me a couple of times.
My dad says it's impossible for anyone to watch Shenandoah without crying. He challenged my grandfather --who never watches movies-- to try watching it.

I always cry when I watch "In America". It's just such a heartbreaking movie on so many levels for me. In the end when they are saying goodbye, I break down every time.

I always get a little misty eyed during the scene in Immortal Beloved when they are playing Ode to Joy, it goes silent and someone has to turn him to see the reaction from the audience. I think what really does me in is thinking about/knowing it was based on a real event...

I'm just gonna come out and say this..

Short Circuit 2.

Yeah, Short Circuit 2.

When they are all destroying Johnny 5 with the crowbars. Man, it was so sad.It wasn't just that either. Afterwards, you see his arm reach up on a fench to pull himself up. That gets me the most because you see the damage done to him.

Finally, at the end where he dies, but is revived.

You have a thing for robots, don't you. Ah-nuld, and now Short Circuit.

To reply to the topic I'll say Braveheart and Glory. That's why I refuse to watch these movies with anyone else around.

Titanic did it for me this weekend. I think it was because it was a true story and people died for no reason other than that they were in a different class than the rich people. The scene where the mother is in bed with the 2 boys late in the movie especially got to me since I have twin boys and couldn't imagine allowing something bad to happen to them like that.
