Any reviews on "The Warrior" or "Zu Warriors"?

I noticed that both "The Warrior" aka "Musa" and "Zu Warriors" aka "The Legend of Zu" are being released in R1 on Tuesday. The "Zu Warriors" description at Amazon says it's only 80 minutes, but one of the features says "Original Hong Kong extended version in Cantonese with optional English subtitles". Does anyone know if they've put both copies on this dvd - the chopped version and the original? That seems highly unlikely.

Anyway come across any detailed reviews of these two on how they compare to the earlier releases in other regions?

The Zu disc has both versions of the film, the original and the Miramax cut version.

Regarding Zu Warriors I also doubt it has a DTS sound option - the HK disc I own has a killer DTS soundtrack.

You are correct, no DTS. The Dolby 5.1 track is okay, but not thunderous. The movie is so tedious I wouldn't watch it again even if it had a great DTS track, though.

with "the warrior", its only in 2.0 pro logic sound for the korean track (the version i have has dts.), is the shorter 135 min cut, and the subtitles apparently match the english dub.

Yes, it's anamorphic.
