Who Here Is Going To Buy She-Ra DVDs?...
So, The Secret of the Sword is coming out in July in time for the San Diego Comic Con. After that the She-Ra: Princess of Power box sets will start to trickle out. Who here is gonna buy 'em?

That's so cool! I've been wanting She-Ra on DVD for years, I loved that show as a kid and even had her action figure. It's about time too, I get taken back to arguing at school with the boys over who's better between She-Ra and He-Man when I see that "He" and Transformers already have DVD sets out with no solo Princess of Power sets.
Thanks for posting the news, now I can add this next to my Jem sets and Wonder Woman and have all the heroes of my 80's childhood together.

If I remember, the Secret of the Sword was actually just the first five episodes of the She-Ra first season released alone as a "tv movie". I wonder if these episodes will also be in the season set, making buying this stand alone pointless? Kind of like the 10 Best Episodes He-Man set that come out right before they started releasing the seasons, where you would get those 10 eps anyway. I've been buying the He-Man sets, and will likely buy the She-Ra too.

I enjoyed them when they were syndicated (and dubbed) in my home country when I was about 12 and 13, so I plan on getting them to share with my daughter as well as my sons!

When I was a kid my parents rented (and then taped) a 2-episode show, and I watched it over and over and over again... not sure if I'll buy all, but the season set w/ those episodes.

My brother, sister and I all plan to get She-ra seperately. We've been waiting for a long time. Actually my brother still in his "sports jock phase" and this will only be his second dvd purchase.

I'll buy this release but would probably never buy the full season sets (same with He-Man, I bought the best of, but wouldn't buy the seasons) that's just WAY too much He-Man and She-Ra for a man in his mid-20s to own.

Yeah I seen that on org site, that artwork looks hot! I cant wait for this, I'm so buying about 5 of these for alot friends that loved this show as much as I did back in day. It just seemed more mystical, epic and creative then later eps of He-man. Don't know about any girl show but yeah Mattel did sadly barbie-ize the line instead appealing to both sexs sadly.

I almost bought it yesterday at CC for $12.99 just to have The Secret of the Sword. I'd feel funny though having it on my shelves when I have no He-Man DVDs though.
