Batman Begins 2 Disc - $14.96 & $15.46 at Amazon.

The 2 Disc "Special Edition" is $14.96, and the 2 Disc "Deluxe Edition" is $15.46. The single disc version is $17.98 though, just in case you don't want all the extras.

According to others on this forum, the DE no longer comes with the comic book due to some recall. No knowledge of it myself, just saw a single post.

Why did Batman Begins DE go OOP so quickly if it wasn't the comic book?

It was discontinued and selling out almost immediately. Then it started being advertised without the comic (or so I thought). Here's the link at DVDAF that shows it being OOP.

Maybe they fixed the problem with the comic book and started shipping them again?

Amazon isn't sellling any new copies themselves. They only show new and used copies available from marketplace sellers.

Um... by following that link, I got to a page telling me that Amazon.com itself had one left in stock for $15.46, along with 32 available from other sellers.

I followed it as well and they do not have any in stock... At the top of the page, it says: "Note: This item is only available from third-party sellers." Also, there are only 31 available at this time. Don't know what happened but I clicked that link earlier today and I saw the same thing as now, lol.

Guess it was good I preordered the DE with the comic book for $15.99 when they had it in stock. Now I can start a tiny library of comics with this one, the Elektra one, the Flash TV series one, the Ultimate Avengers one, etc...

I got my order today. Lo and behold I did not get my comic book. This sucks. I emailed Amazon to see if something can be done. Because otherwise, why did I pay a little bit extra for the Deluxe Edition? And also, I was really looking forward to getting the book. Even their description has the book listed and the pics do too. If I would have known that it would not be included, I would have probably not gotten the order.

I ordered the SE version (DE wasn't available when I placed my order). I ended up getting the Deluxe Edition though. However, it's in a regular case (not cardboard) and it doesn't have a comic book, so I don't think there's any difference. Very strange.
