Heather sang that much better than she did yesterday. Maybe everyone should just sing as if they're going home, then they'd all truly do their best.
I liked Heather, but she was a weaker one...so it all works out.
Brenna was funny at first, but now that we don't even really get to see the idols living life normally, she didn't really have that funny aspect to her anymore.

That Brenna money begging thing was one of the worst things I've ever seen on this show. Does she know that she can't sing and that America thinks she's annoying?
Is Paula strung out on pain killers again tonight? She looks really bad.

What a strange show tonight! Paula is obviously back on her meds.
As Ryan pointed out, Paula and Simon were like third graders. They MUST be having an affair.
Brenna, Brenna, Brenna.... I've added a "Brenna Gethers" section to my Google customized news home page so that I can be sure to let everyone know as soon as possible when her new CD comes out. The only way that girl is making any cash is, well, I'm sure you can fill in the blank....
I was surprised to see David go, although he needed to go -- I thought he would have lasted a few more weeks based on "cute". Maybe people are voting this year based more on singing talent -- yeah, right, "Chicken Little" is still there! Whatever.
Heather going home surprised me too, I would have thought Kinnick between those two.
It's taken several weeks, but I just noticed tonight that "Seacrest, out!" is gone -- I wonder who made that decision. It always seemed to me like Ryan thought that "Seacrest, out!" was the absolute coolest thing that could possibly drop from his lips.

Maybe they thought "Seacrest, Out!" was more of an admission of his sexual orientation...so they made him drop the phrase.
The flippancy displayed by the judges as these contestants' dreams were being crushed was pretty appalling.

Wow! No major surprises at all. The only mild pleasant surprise was that Kevin was in the bottom 3 guys. I agreed with every single one of the bottom 6. Now lets get Kevin and Will out of there and the top 6 guys will be perfect.
I thought Brenna would make it another week and that Kevin would sail to the top 12. I have never been so glad to be wrong!!

I liked David's singing, if it weren't for those idiotic looks he made while singing. He really needs to learn how to control that before he becomes sexually active. Those weird faces are enough to make Meredith Grey cry.

Yeah I was glad Seacrest called Paula and Simon out, that was very unprofessional. Then they did it again!
I sorta like the "Seacrest, Out!" And I don't think he's gay...just metro. Admit it, y'all wouldn't mind having his job. Does he still have his own TV show too?? I don't remember if that got the axe.
