Coming out on 6/6/6, I bet it's named the "Is the Devil Edition" or something similar.

Ugh. Have the original and won't be double dipping on this one. Ok flick...but not worth the extras.

Just my thoughts.

Could a Little Nicky: SE announcement be far behind?

I thought Little Nicky had a sweet special edition. Platinum Series no less.

Waterboy was never in a snapper - it was released by one of Disney's home video companies.

And here I thought you'd be talking about Waterboy in a thread titled "The Waterboy : Special Edition ----> 6/6/06." How dumb could I be?

If you want to get technical, using "that" in a reply that singularly referenced "Little Nicky" would imply which movie in a snapper case would be in question. If it were "The Waterboy", it would have read; "i might pick this up, i'm so over snapper cases."

If it were "The Waterboy" which was being referenced to, he would have used "this" in place of "that", as The Movieman did in the subsequent reply.

"Never got the other one so I might pick this one up if the price is right..."

ANYCRAP...............

I'll definately take this one home. Seen it a billion times, reference some of the lines daily, it's a must have for me.

Looking forward to the anamorphic transfer, assuming there is one. Let's hope Ransom was the last "Special Edition" they release in non-anamorphic widescreen.

Me too.

Why not just put all the extras on the original release?

I hate when they do this.

I think I got the original for under $10.. I can't imagine any extras convincing me to get another version and as I don't have a widescreen TV the appeal of an anamorphic transfer is quite minimal. Guess I'll wait for the specs.

This is one of the movies that I keep wanting to get but never did.

I also did not know the earlier release was non-anamorphic so I am glad I held off for this new release!!
