I have Lego Star Wars for the GBA and having immense fun from it. So I was wondering, I have a Gamecube, and would be missing out on a tremendous amount by not having the console version (aside from graphics)?

They're two TOTALLY different games. If you have a kid or some friends the Cube version (or PS/Xbox as they're all the same) is a great addition. It's a light game for single-player but an enormous fun romp for two (minus the damn vehicle levels). If you're enjoying the GBA version you'll probably enjoy its bigger brother just as much.

The DS Lego Star Wars II will have 4 player support!

It's a sexy idea, let's just hope it's executed well. Most of these license tie-in games get the royal shaft when it comes to the portable version. Lego Star Wars I managed to get by with a decent GBA version so it may be in good hands.

Getting four people over Wi-Fi* to smash up a Lego Death Star?.. oh yes!

*Wi-Fi not confirmed.. but, please make it so!

I didn't like the gameboy version much at all...but loved the console version. It felt slow and awkward by comparison.

I was disappointed in the console version. Yeah, the game is immensely cute, but the lack of camera control bothered me, and I felt the control during the battles wasn't good enough. I've not played the GBA version.

I think the series began as a total gimmick, but people really seemed to like it so I see it getting better.

Yes, if you like the GBA you should love the console version. It's not more "kiddy."
