Are there any Online stores that ship the Thursday Before?
I wanted to get "Walk the Line" for a friend who's leaving town on Saturday so I'm wondering if there are any online DVD stores that usually ship new releases on Thursdays (or earlier) so I could use One day shipping to get the DVD early. I know that DigitalEyes always does, but they're site isn't listing the movie right now so I'm in a bit of a pickle.

Digital Eyes (part the same Deep Discount & DVD Planet family) also ships the week before.
But here's the catch: any of these stores are at the mercy of the USPS when they ship Media Mail which normally takes 3-5 days could take up to 2 weeks.
If you have to have it on or before street date, then elect for Priority Mail shipping. It costs more, but you'll have it on time!

Yeah, I recently tried a DDD pre-order with media-mail. I got an email that they shipped the discs out the Tuesday before release. I was like, cool! I didn't get the package till two weeks after the release date. Go figure.
