London

I just finished the film London, and thought it was an A+ across the board...

Brilliant writing, great visual work and the characters were perfectly cast...

I went in a little skeptical due to the fact the lead was Chris "The Human Torch" Evans (no I wasn't a fan of Fantastic 4)... But he proved within minutes, to me anyway, to be a very accomplished actor with depth & range... The rest of cast was terrific as well... Jason Statham was an obvious stand out with his high energy performance. Jessica Biel, besides being smoking hot throughout, hit all the dramatic marks needed to pull off the role... And of course I have to mention Dane Cook's little bit of business, which added the right amount of comic relief needed for the flick...

The one thing that mainly stood out was there didn't seem to be a slow point in the movie, Hunter Richards (writer/director) paced it very well.

I'm not going into too much detail so I don't spoil anything, but I do highly recommend checking it out...

I also want to add that I did a search for "London" and didn't find any threads on the film. If I missed one that already exists just point it out and I'll move this to there.

Sounded interesting but the reviews have been less than kind. I think Ebert and Ebert said that it was about spoiled people who had tons of money and get drunk and high all the time.

The critics prefer Pink Panther. It is at 0% with the cream of the crop on rotton tomatoes.

I'm a bit more interested in the soundtrack, seeing as how it was done by The Crystal Method.

I'll rent the movie someday.
