Can others use your Best Buy Reward Zone?
For example, my parents are going to buy a new washing machine. Can I just give them my reward zone card to use? Or will the negate the transaction when they see the people that bought the washer don't own the RZ account?
I assume if someone pays cash for something, there's no way for them to know if it was you or not, but when it's credit, it may be different.

I've given my RZ card to my mom before when she bought me some Christmas presents, and it seemed to work fine. I don't think they really care that much.
I've even been with other people when they bought some stuff, and took the RZ card out of my wallet and they scanned it like it was nothing. So I don't think they're too picky, unless it was done all the time or something.

Technically, you're not supposed to. In reality, it really isn't a big deal. Almost half of the points I've received on my account were from other people's purchases (friends & family). They've never given me a hassle scanning it and I've always received the points.

That is a pretty dumb policy, especially since the older cards (not sure about the newer ones) are pretty flimsy and fall apart easily. There was also a misprint on the older cards omitting one digit of the membership number.

Here in MA the local Best Buys (2 of them) NEVER give hassles about someone else using my Reward Zone card. How could they possibly know who owns it? All you do is say yes you have one, let them scan it and away you go!

the past few times i've gone in there with a friend, his card expired and i decided not to let those points go to waste so i just gave it to him while we were in the checkout line
