Lost -- "the Long Con" -- 02.08.2006

"the Long Con"

Survivors fear that "The Others" may have returned when Sun is injured during a failed kidnapping attempt.

Sounds like another Sawyer story, from the title. Dont' read the description if you don't want a spoiler. One word in there,
Spoiler:
failed
even ruins the outcome of something in the last preview.

Previews from tonight's show. And yeah, it seems
Spoiler:
the kidnapping of Sun isn't going to be a huge deal, since they show it in the previews. And Sawyer sure seems to be turning back into the Sawyer from last season.

This is copied from the last show's thread, not sure if many people saw it...

Just listened to the podcast for this week, and a couple interesting things were mentioned...

Regarding "Alex," -
Spoiler:
they basically said it was safe to assume it is Danielle's Alex.

When Charlie is walking out of the building from the commercial shoot, the building in the background is from the Pink Floyd album "Animals," but spoilerish to the show is the sign that was supposedly on the building (though they said it was smaller than they wanted - and I can't read it), it said
Spoiler:
Widmore Construction, and is supposed to have meaning down the line - kind of like the Hanso stuff, I guess.

And finally, about Locke's boss and Hurley's former boss,
Spoiler:
I think they were being serious, but it's hard to tell sometimes, but it is indeed the same person, and Carlton said Hurley felt bad after the meteor hit the chicken place (I think it was a chicken place) so he gave his old boss a job at his box factory.

Spoiler:
the restuarant and the napkins.

Spoiler:
what Podcast were you listening to? The only confirmation I got from that discussion is that Alex is a girl, not a boy. They never confirmed that Mr. Friendly calling Alex is Daniella's Alex.

They did confirmed that Hurley owns the box company that Locke works in, and that Locke's boss was Hurley's former manager in the chicken restaurant

Listening to this week's...it's about 21:50 in, Carlton says, "I think it wouldn't be wrong to assume that if
Spoiler:
Mr. Friendly is shouting 'Alex' that that would not be unrelated (to Danielle's Alex)." So very indirectly, I think they kind of said it was. If I interrpreted all those negatives not uncorrectly )

I'll have to listen to it again. Too many sarcasms from these 2 douchbags. I have been listening to The Official Lost Podcast since the beginning, they are not funny with the gay jokes/comments and sarcasm.

Amen to that!!!

I guess you never really get to see how good some of the people really can look, but thank goodness we have magazines.

Bring on the rest of the women of Lost!

My wife won't be home in time to watch a Tivo'd version of Lost tonight...so I must wait.

Nope. Was it just me or does it actually seem like an episode was missing between the last episode and this one.

I always enjoy Sawyer's episodes, even if they are predictable. Also, the filmmaking seemed "better" for some reason, even if the half-shadowed faces were a bit overdone.

Love the fact that neither Jack nor Locke have the guns anymore.

Again - what did Sawyer say after he told everyone that they would have to go to him for a gun? Thanks.

There's a new sheriff in town.

...or was that too far along?
