Getting started in an hour. The girlfriend has been whining about this being off-air for a couple of weeks.

Awww...House finds his heart and pushes Stacy away once again.
That patient is whacked. What a nutty way for 2 non-confrontational married people to "work" things out.
Good to know Cameron has been cleared of HIV infection.

Best part of the episode House and the kid. When he has to be with a kid House shines, by having not to be a complete utter ass, but still having little side of jerk. I'm glad the nonsense of Boss Foreman is done as well. At the end of the episode, Sela Ward was packing up, does that mean her arc is done?

I would say so. Cuddy's impersonation of Stacy had me laughing a bit as well. That balloon dog was so not close to being a balloon dog. Loved how House got a mouth swab from Cameron for her HIV test.

The mouth swab was good. I thought the episode was over pretty quickly, and wasn't excpetionally pleased with the closure brought to the sick lady.
However, I enjoyed it, as I have all House's.

When house asks the kid what floor the nurse who was watching her is on. Presses the floor button in the elevator. You think he is going to take her there ..... then he bails from the elevator.
Pretty much symbolic of his personality.

House finds his way into Wilson's locked office to discover Wilson rolling joints.
House: "High school reunion?"
Then House tries to nab one on his way out.

There are fairly new (half a decade or so) saliva based tests that can detect incredibly, incredibly diluted amounts of HIV virus, but they're less accurate..
Saliva does carry HIV virus particles, but it's not generally considered a method of transmitting HIV because you actually need quite a few virus particles to be infected with HIV, and the salivary concentration is very low.

We all know that the show follows the same format every week, so to me, the really good episodes tend to be the ones where there is more development with the main characters. Although this episode definitely furthered (and probably resolved) the House and Stacey relationship, the episode just didn't do it for me. I am starting to think that the constant repetitiveness of the same story structure week after week is just too boring.

Same storyline? You mean a wrong diagnosis followed by treatment that may kill the patient followed by a pow wow in their whiteboard room where house has to personally find out what is wrong with the patient having it be some 1 in a million condition where it is healed within hours?
