Question about Penn & Teller: BULLSHIT!
I have seen two versions of this release...
One of these versions I have seen only in store and on DVD Empire, and the cover looks like this:
I have also seen this cover on Amazon and some other online stores:
What is the difference between these two covers? Is the actual content of the discs different (censored...uncensored?)? Thanks!

Did a search and found this...
"
When the 1st Season of this series was released last March, there was some misunderstanding and controversy about the dual covers available for the box set. One version had the word "Censored" in a black box that was pasted over the cuss word that made up the title of the show. This led buyers to believe that the DVDs in that box were also censored, but it was actually just the title on the outer box, so brick-and-morter store retailers like Best Buy would be able to stock their shelves with a version that didn't cuss at their customers. The same disc content could be found in either package.
This time, to keep the confusion at a minimum, Showtime and Ventura's alternate packaging instead shorten the politically incorrect word to it's more acceptable form of "BS". Once again, though, there is no known intention of censoring the content of the discs themselves."
Thanks!

Discs are the same. However, does anyone else find it ironic that an episode about profanity is included on the season two set while the covers are censored?

DVD Talk Legend
I rented these from Netflix a while ago, and the discs were labeled BS, not Bullshit. But trust me, the swearing and gratuitous nudity in the Sex episode most definitely were uncensored.
