Name International movies made for the English market.
Foreign Movies made especially for the English market (not American/British movies filmed in foreign countries), can you name some?
The Neverending Story (Germany)
4 Lexx movies (Canadian, filmed in Germany)
Heaven (Tykwer - German/Italian?)
Soldier of Orange (the Netherlands)
I'm sure there are a few Dutch movies out there since English is so common there.

I don't get it - since Soldier of Orange was based on a Dutch book, and filmed in Dutch, what makes this a movie "made especially for the Engish market"?
It was a indeed a breakthrough hit around the world, but then every foreign filmmaker hopes his efforts will find an audience in the English-speaking world.

Wouldn't the LOtR films fit this category?
How about The Pianist?

I guess it could be argued Von Trier's output since Breaking the Waves (minus The Idiots) fits what you're looking for.
