Commander in Chief 1/24/06 "Wind Beneath My Wing"

Spoiler:
Templeton accompanies Mac on Air Force One for a trip out West for the dedication of former President Bridges Presidential Library. While on the ground in California, Air Force One is held hostage by a man who demands to speak directly with the President or he will blow up the plane. Meanwhile, Kate watches the kids while Mac and Rod are out of town, and realizes she may have opened a Pandora's Box by allowing Horace and Rebecca to have friends over to the White House for a party.

gonna call BS on both plots
no way the SS would fuck up that bad, and if they did the sniper would kill him as soon as he said he had a bomb
the case the address was in would have been alarmed, and I doubt the SS would let a bunch of high school kids run wild through the non-residence section of the WH

Gee. Ya think?

That was so laughably unrealistic, but that's what made it entertaining.

MPG nailing the hot reporter in AF1. "You wanna go again?"

Did I miss the part where the youngest daughter explained why she hid the Gettysburg Address? I gather because she wanted attention, but if anything, it took attention away from her.

Kids! what are ya gonna do?

Good episode -- and of course it was not realistic; it's not a documentary! It reminds me of The West Wing back when it first started and was good.

So is the "Mile High Club" when you do it on a plane, period. Or is it when the plane is moving? Or does it have to be when the plane is airborne? Anybody care to weigh in? (perhaps I'd get more responses if I posted in the adult forum.)

I hope CiC starts to focus more on the "running of the country" and now the campaign against Temp, and NOT the "emergency of the week".

It's starting to remind me of Boston Public, where every over the top situation that had ever happened in a high school in the last 15 years all happened at THAT high school in one season.

cfg!

PS, the kids HAVE to go.
