I just got down with the 3rd season DVD and I totally want to know what happens afterward. I know the 4th season is due out at the end of next month but can someone please answer this for me:



It's driving me nuts!

Prue is killed in the last episode of season 3, and thereafter on the show Prue is dead.
Shannon Doherty doesn't appear on the show again.
They do talk about Prue. Phoebe and Piper talk about how much they miss her and how sad and angry they are that she is dead.

But how does it work? Do they continue directly from the end of the season 3 finale because I don't know they would do that since Prue was involved in that

I guess the answer to your question is that they do not pick up directly where season 3 ends. When season 4 starts the battle is over and Piper is trying to find a way to bring Prue back, and before the new improved credits roll, we've already met her replacement.

Cole was supposed to warn/help the sisters after the time rewind, and as they show in the last episode of S3, the sorce knew of this plan and planned to incarcerate Cole so the sisters would be back to square 1 after the time rewind, and so dead.
Cole manages to escpae with Leos help, and Leo manages to get back, but only in time to save one sister - they dont show all this but its mentioned.
