(DEAD) Neon Genesis Evangelion Platinum Collection $5.99 @ Amazon

Ok, not sure what this is about... I placed an order for one but I am fully expecting it to get cancelled.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...s=dvd&v=glance

But it couldn't hurt to place an order anyways.

Great Price

I placed my order but it says it does not ship until the middle of next month so will see if they honor the price

The retail price is $9.98 so I doubt it's a mistake. Unless the retail price is one.

Too late. Someone already posted this on fatwallet. It's not getting any attention over there though.

Yeah. I thought about it and figured someone else will probably find this and post it here anyways. Guess we just have to wait and see.

I went and ordered one too. Hope it goes through. Missed out on the last deal because I paid through CC at Overstock instead of Bill Me Later. Thanks OP.

Just because no one responds doesn't mean it's "not getting any attention". FW as well as DVDTalk has thousands of lurkers, and I'm sure this deal will be pulled very soon.

The retail price definitely is not$10.

The retail price is the mistake itself, I doubt a 6-disc set will be going for $9.98 retail.

Yeah, I know. I looked at the used ones and saw that. And yeah, Amazon will cancel it by Monday.

Giving it a shot, but don't expect much.

It's about $40 at Walmart, may just wind up with that anyhow.

It's been $5.99 all day, people are speculating it's wrong because it was listed at $9.99 for Retail.

Ever since I got Now and Then, Here and There for about the same price, I've been hoping for another screw up from someone .

It has always been $5.99, $9.98 was the MSRP.

Well at the time, there were not many page views for the thread. Things have changed now. A bunch of people have posted they bought 5, one bought 15, and another bought 150 (if he is to be believed).

I hate it when people take advantage of deals/mistakes by buying them in bulk, ruins the fun for the rest of us.

Well, let's all pray that it doesn't end up like the OVERSTOCK.COM fiasco
