DVD Talk review of 'COPS: The Animated Series (4-Disc Set)'

I read Randy Miller III's DVD review of COPS: The Animated Series (4-Disc Set) at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=19742 and...

Random 80s cartoon trivia:

The C.O.P.S. character named Checkpoint (file name Wayne R. Sneeden) was supposedly the son of the G.I. Joe character Beach-Head (same file name). Checkpoint's file card says something to the effect of "Father was part of a top-secret anti-terrorist organization in the 80's and 90's".

Never knew the G.I.Joe connection, cool. My question is one that may be silly in that I may have missed it in the review, but is this the complete series? The title of the DVD seems to imply there aren't any more coming.. I'd get this just to replace the few I have on VHS from recording it off the TV back in the day!

Thanks for the trivia, Josh...cool stuff!

As for future releases, reverie, I'm not sure if there'll be more or not. It's not really a "Best Of" collection, yet it doesn't say "Volume 1" anywhere. I'll give Shout Factory an e-mail and see if they'll spill any beans.

I thought this show was the coolest back in the day. Buttons McBoomBoom was a bad ass. I remember the Big Boss toy had a cane that came with a roll of caps and you could slam the cane down and it would shoot off.

That Beach Head trivia is awesome.

Ahh, bang caps. So much fun could be had with just one roll and a hammer...
