Duality

The episodes on each disc have sporadic audio distortion that is reminiscent of the volume being turned up too loud. If I had known about this phenomenon, I would have skipped this season! Anyone else bothered by this problem?

are you sure it's not a defective disc?
does it do it mainly with the laugh track?

Duality

All three discs are affected. The laugh track isn't a trouble spot. The distortion happens when certain words are spoken and not just words that are high in pitch. I watched an episode with my partner, who at first doubted my claim, and he was annoyed by the distortion sound too.
