Amen to that. It's not as good as the original, but it's much better and a lot more fun than Porky's II: The Next Day, which doesn't even have Porky in it. In Porky's Revenge, Porky has relocated his strip club/bar to a casino/gambling boat. Nudity-wise, nothing beats the girls' full frontal shower scene in the original Porky's though. Whoa, I love that scene!

FOX Movie Channel (Channel 258 on DirecTV Satellite) has aired Porky's Revenge quite a few times in the last year or two, but it's always in the 1.33:1 open-matte ratio. I wish they'd produce a new 16x9 transfer in the 1.85:1 ratio and put it out on DVD.

Ah, that shower scene was a modern classic of cinema. (And one of the goddamned funniest scenes ever put to film. "She's going for it!")

It's been about twenty years (!!!) since I've seen "Porky's Revenge," but I seem to recall that the biology teacher had some pretty serious nipples on her.

I love the soundtrack to the film. If you're a Dave Edmunds fan (his mid-80's sound though) it's a must have.

I also have it on vinyl but noticed it's on cd. Looks like I need to make a purchase. I see it listed as remastered with bonus tracks. Does anyone know if it came out more than once? I'd guess no.

Anyone have any info on the Porky's: Special Edition DVD that's available at Amazon? I just came across the listing. How is the transfer? What special features does it have?

"Hi, I'm Pauly the Penis and I just LOOVE to have fun! Ha ha ha!"

We need a three-disc Ultimate Porky's Collection with:

- all three films with new anamorphic transfers and 5.1 mixes
- the original mono tracks
- Bob Clark/cast/crew commentaries
- documentaries on the making of the films/casting/how they were recieved
- deleted/extended scenes
- outtakes
- a dedication to Nancy Parsons (Miss Balbricker)
- theatrical teasers/trailers

I have had The Porky's Collection on my wishlist at DVDspot.com for quite some time. There seems to be a Region 1 set of all 3 movies that was released 11/21/06...

http://dvdspot.com/dvd.php?d=1664634594

Anyone EVER see this set?

I want this on DVD badly. This was my favorite of the trilogy, way back when, but nowadays, the original is tops, for me.

Released by Maple Pictures in Canada, in Full Frame only... with VHS quality transfers.

Howard Stern has mentioned he bought the rights to do a remake of Porkys. I"m not sure how far along they are but if/when that sees the light of day, I'm sure the old ones will get re-released on DVD.

Is the Porky's Part 1 DVD in that set the same one I asked about in my post (post #11)? I'm guessing the one on Amazon must be a junk DVD or else it would surely be more talked about around these parts. Anyone reviewed it yet to confirm?

There was a Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs CD release (MFCD-1-797) which was a little hard to find.

Also FYI for Dave Edmunds fans, Rockpile's Seconds of Pleasure (with bonus tracks) was re-released at the same time as the Porky's Revenge soundtrack CD re-release.

Yeah, I'd love a boxed set of all three. If Fox believes "Revenge of the Nerds 1-4" warrants such treatment, I can't understand why Porky's doesn't receive the same treatment. I mean, Porky's Revenge is the worst of the Porky's trilogy, but at least it wasn't made-for-TV pablum.

Maybe we'll get a Complete Porky's: The "Enough Wool to Knit a Sweater" Edition.
