Porky's Revenge, any word on a DVD?

Amen to that. It's not as good as the original, but it's much better and a lot more fun than Porky's II: The Next Day, which doesn't even have Porky in it. In Porky's Revenge, Porky has relocated his strip club/bar to a casino/gambling boat. Nudity-wise, nothing beats the girls' full frontal shower scene in the original Porky's though. Whoa, I love that scene!
FOX Movie Channel (Channel 258 on DirecTV Satellite) has aired Porky's Revenge quite a few times in the last year or two, but it's always in the 1.33:1 open-matte ratio. I wish they'd produce a new 16x9 transfer in the 1.85:1 ratio and put it out on DVD.

It's been about twenty years (!!!) since I've seen "Porky's Revenge," but I seem to recall that the biology teacher had some pretty serious nipples on her.

I also have it on vinyl but noticed it's on cd. Looks like I need to make a purchase. I see it listed as remastered with bonus tracks. Does anyone know if it came out more than once? I'd guess no.

Anyone have any info on the Porky's: Special Edition DVD that's available at Amazon? I just came across the listing. How is the transfer? What special features does it have?

We need a three-disc Ultimate Porky's Collection with:
- all three films with new anamorphic transfers and 5.1 mixes
- the original mono tracks
- Bob Clark/cast/crew commentaries
- documentaries on the making of the films/casting/how they were recieved
- deleted/extended scenes
- outtakes
- a dedication to Nancy Parsons (Miss Balbricker)
- theatrical teasers/trailers

Howard Stern has mentioned he bought the rights to do a remake of Porkys. I"m not sure how far along they are but if/when that sees the light of day, I'm sure the old ones will get re-released on DVD.

Also FYI for Dave Edmunds fans, Rockpile's Seconds of Pleasure (with bonus tracks) was re-released at the same time as the Porky's Revenge soundtrack CD re-release.

Yeah, I'd love a boxed set of all three. If Fox believes "Revenge of the Nerds 1-4" warrants such treatment, I can't understand why Porky's doesn't receive the same treatment. I mean, Porky's Revenge is the worst of the Porky's trilogy, but at least it wasn't made-for-TV pablum.
Maybe we'll get a Complete Porky's: The "Enough Wool to Knit a Sweater" Edition.
