Hastings TV on DVD deals [Sony B1G1F + FOX sale]
Here's the page directly from their online ad:
I'm fairly certain that the B1G1 sale starts 1/17 since the ad itself is from 1/17 to 1/31. Note that the FOX deals are from 1/19 to 1/25.

That's it... I'm not buying any more TV DVD sets unless they are under $15. Between last year's Season 1 sales for $14.99 and all these B1G1F deals on seasons that are on sale already, 2 for $30 or at most 2 for $40 seems to be the new target bargain price.

For those familiar with Hastings ad sales.....are they only valid in-store? That's what the ad pages appear to say online?
I noticed the 24 box sets - seasons 2 & 3 for $24.00 each (If I read that correctly - I couldn't tell if it was 24.99 or 24.00). That seems to be a fairly decent deal.

Can anyone confirm if this sale is legit? First, I can't find a copy of the flyer online anywhere, certainly not on their website. I went to the store, and no signs of the sale. Of course, 24 and The Shield was under lock and key, and no one around to help me so I left. I called the store 3 times to try to get an answer, and i was put on hold with no response every time. Very frustrating.

according to that link:
All product and offers featured in this ad are valid in-store only, through 1/31/06, exceptwhere noted.
Discounts may vary depending upon store location.
also 24 is a fox program, they have a fox sale beneath the sony sale sand are offering x-files season 1-3 for 32.99, which will be available january 31st but that sale price will expire january 25th. i'm confused.
i don't have a Hastings but my local wal-mart has taken to putting some of their boxsets and tv titles in locked cases, not all but some.
