Criterion Dazed and Confused in the works!
Check out the link below. Harry Knowles reports that Richard Linklater personally confirmed he is working on a CC edition of Dazed and Confused.

This was mentioned back in september on the criterionforum.org forum and on this site, after the Universal re-release turned out to be a dud.

No. It was news when the rumors first broke a year and a half ago, and when I got the exact same confirmation, with more details, from Linklater way back in September. I'd say that by now, this is far from "news."

So of course Harry would post it as news.
"This is kinda funny, it's sort of an Austin project, he's in Bristol making a stop motion animated feature film adaptation of GILBERT SHELTON'S FABULOUS FURRY FREAK BROTHERS."

DVD Talk Hall of Fame
I read the interview where Linklater talked about how disappointed he was with the recent rerelease (which I bought for about 10 bucks). This is my favorite high school movie of all time, I'm definitely getting it and was unaware the CC version was coming out. Thanks for the tip, OP!
Edit: I just noticed that the CC version of "Kind Hearts and Coronets", "Metropolitan", "Au Revoir Les Enfants" and "Murmurs of the Heart" are all coming soon. Goddamnit, I've got to get ALL of those.
