DVD Talk review of 'Adventures of Superman - The Complete Second Season'
I read Stuart Galbraith IV's DVD review of Adventures of Superman - The Complete Second Season at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=19640 and I think it's boring. Maybe I'm just done with old school supermen and am looking forward to the new one.

Well, in fairness, I don't think it's a fair to compare a 1950s TV version with a 2006 state-of-the-art theatrical release.
Boring? Maybe, by today's standards. But it's also pretty fun to watch, in my opinion.

Re: DVD Talk review of 'Adventures of Superman - The Complete Second Season'
I just bought and watched season 2, and had done the same with season 1 last year. The first two seasons are black and white, with a lot of film noir aspects. I enjoyed both seasons quite a bit.
The last 4 seasons are in color. Although it's been years since I've seen them on TV, I recall that many of the episodes were deliberately dumbed down to be more child friendly. I don't intend on buying those.
