Davisdvd.com is reporting that Unsolved Mysteries: The Ultimate Collection will be released on March 21st.

There is another link in there that shows one of the sweetest and coolest looking sets ever.

Beautiful set. I used to watch the show religiously as a kid (!), but it's one of those shows that I don't find a great deal of replay value in. Certain stories make for nice repeated viewing, but there's a lot of ones that I wouldn't care to see again.

Is this just all of the previously released 'collections' in a big box?

From the description on Davisdvd.com, these are just reissues with one bonus "Treasures" disc. The big question now is whether there is a way to buy the Treasures disc and awesome looking case seperately if you already purchased all the sets. I mean if you were a fan of the show, there is a good chance you already bought the prior sets.

Great, for those who bought the previous sets (like myself) we now get screwed out of a cool case and bonus disc. Wonderful. Its not like this is a huge series that a ton of people bought, but the main people who actually purchased them are diehard fans, not casual viewers.

I didn't buy any of the other sets since I was waiting for this to come out.

I'm glad it finally did. I was starting to get worried.

Tvshowsondvd.com has more info on the Ultimate Collection release and the Best Of... DVDs. The SRP for the Ultimate Collection is pretty low for such an elaborate packaging. Nice bargain during the next 20% off DDD sale.

So do the sets combined contain every episode..or is this just select stories per theme?

Does anybody knows why Amazon.com doesn't carry this set? I searched and didn't find anything except The "best off" set coming the same day.

Does anyone know if they have updated the shows with "Solved" edits where mysteries have been solved? I know they did it sometimes during the original airings.

The 'Ghosts' and 'UFO' sets are pretty much complete...Bizzard Murders could easily spawn an additional 2-3 sets. I really wish they would release new volumes as they had some pretty interesting segments.

I wonder if this mega set signifies the end of the Unsloved Mysteries on DVD or the comming of a second wave? I hope it's the latter.

Does anyone have an update on whether or not the big 'treasure box' will be available for people who already have the sets?
