Help with the name of a band...
Hey all,
Ok, this one has been driving me nuts for a few years... back in the late 90's when i started getting into Mp3's i had a song on my mp3 player that I loved... It got erased, and I thought nothing of it until about a year later -- and since then the original file had been erased - I got the song online somewhere (legally).
Anyway, Here's what i "remember":
1) It was a "local" or college band -- not a big name band
2) The band name is "Kadence" or "Cadence"
3) The song I liked was called something simillar to:
a) Get what you give
b) Give what you get
c) You Gotta Give...
d) You Gotta Get....
4) It was a LIVE performance. I want to say it was at the University of Michigan (U of M).
5) I believe they used to have a website with a cd single on it -- and the above song was on it -- but the website is no longer active.
6) About 2 years ago during another exhaustive search i came a cross a website from some guy who posted his current winamp play list and there was a song by (K)(C)adence with the title similar to what I had above. I emailed the guy and he never responded. I cannot find that site anymore either.
7) The song is at least as old as 1999/2000.
8) There is a college band in Madison, WI that has a similar name, but I don't think it's them...
9) The sound of the band I am looking for is kinda like dave matthews meets thir eye blind, meets the gin blossoms.....in other words, it's not electronic, metal, etc...
I would LOVE to find this song/band... Thanks for your help.
Thanks,
Matt!!!!!!!

Hello...
Thanks Drexl, but that's not the one. I am almost 100% positive that their song was an original and not a cover....
Thanks,
Matt
