Mr. Peepers Won't Play on My Denon DVD Player
I just received the new 4 disc "Mr Peepers" dvd that was released last week. The discs won't play on my Denon DVD player, but will play on my slightly newer Sony player.
Has anyone else experienced this with this new disc?
Visually, the show looks pretty good, especially when you consider that the program was preserved on Kinescopes. One BIG gripe, however, is that the UCLA Film & Television Archive logo is burned into the image intermittently throughout each episode. I know they probably did this because the episodes are public domain, but I think if you're spending the money to purchase the DVD's, you deserve to get the shows without the annoyance.
