It's Game Time: 2nd Degree, how well do you know your movies

Hello DVD Talk'ers:

It's time we get a game going. This game is to test if you've actually seen the movies, or simply own them for a collection.

The process:
Pick a Movie [x] (available on DVD) that references another movie/character (e.g. Bond, not a 'tittle' of film but a character/franchise) [y] within it's script
Take the referenced film and choose another film [z] starring the lead actor/actress or director in that flim...

Example:
How are these to movies connected?
...Get Shorty --[?]-- Citizen Kane...

Can you guess what Movie [y] connects the two?

Answer:
'Touch of Evil'
Chili Palmer (Travolta) from Get Shorty talks about seeing the film Touch of Evil Starring/Directed by Orson Welles, and of course Citizen Kane is directed by Welles.

Rules:
No spoliers
Don't fancy yourself
Keep to the format
and yea, cut on the usage of the internet, this is an exam;-)

...The Game Begins...
The Boondock Saints -- ? -- Cop Land

...Winner of the correct solution picks their choice of two films (unless they opt to skip) than it becomes who ever posts first.

ENJOY

Boondock Saints - Uh...one of the brothers references Rambo, starring Sylvester Stallone.

I think this game will be way to hard for most. As it is, I can't think of one to put down as the next one. Oh well.

Travolta's character mentions "Dog Day Afternoon" in his beginning monologue. Sidney Lumet directed Dog Day Afternoon and Network.

The torn poster of The Hills Have Eyes, directed by Wes Craven, is in Evil Dead.

Wes appears in Jay & Bob...

Bachelor Party-?-Filthy McNasty
