Absolutely, it is worth it since you do not own any of the 3 films on dvd.
It's a beautiful box set, and I will tell you I spent over $50 on the trilogy box set when it first came out and ebayed my other 2 copys that I owned before, and when Target had this on sale (bonus disc in the 4 disc Trilogy bs aside) for $14.99, I thought to myself how nice for the people who haven't bought all 3 films yet to get such a great deal on 3 amazing movies. Plus a King Kong ticket, not fair man.

If you are going to get it, get it now. The Kong ticket expires Dec 31. Got this set at Target for $14.99. I used the Kong ticket so it is like the box set of all 3 movies was just $9 ($6 for Kong I would have paid otherwise)

Basically, the audio to JP 1 and 2 is still DD 5.1 but the extras are added in and considering the movie ticket as well as low price; it's a steal if you don't own them already. There's nothing new for those who already own the movies though...
