DVD Talk review of 'Walt Disney Treasures - Disney Rarities - Celebrated Shorts, 1920s - 1960s'

I read DVD Savant's DVD review of Walt Disney Treasures - Disney Rarities - Celebrated Shorts, 1920s - 1960s at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=19382 and...

Quality on all the cartoons is excellent, with even the ancient Alice shorts in very good condition. Disney completists will consider this a must-have disc set.
Quality is excellent? Did you actually watch this set? For the most part, these cartoons are unrestored and look like they've been ported over from laserdisc....badly ported over.

The reviews have been bad for this set and the Donald (Vol. 2) set. Check Amazon and the Home Theater Forum for the horrible reviews.

Come on, Savant. I usually agree with your reviews!
