Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced rated and unrated editions of Where The Truth Lies which stars Kevin Bacon, Alison Lohman and Colin Firth. The film tells the story of a female journalist, trying to uncover the truth behind the breakup, years earlier, of a celebrated comedy team after the duo found a girl dead in their hotel room. Both discs will be available to own from the 28th February, priced at around $26.96 a piece. The film itself will be presented in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 track. Each disc will include a behind the scenes featurette and deleted scenes.

Probably the worst movie i've seen this year. Incredibly awful. I'd say its worth watching just to see how bad it is, but it is REALLY REALLY dull.

Despite the reviews, this isn't a bad film at all. Very self-consciously "pulpy" and lurid - just not what you expect from Egoyan. It's a playful mix of neo-noir and those direct-to-cable "erotic thrillers"...except with a couple of good performances.
