I am looking for the best subwoofer I can buy for between $120 - $150.
Any suggestions?

Thanks for the suggestion. That looked like just what I wanted. Unfortunately, it is now listed as Discontinued

Does anyone have any other suggestions in this price range?

Do an eBay search for seller "hifi.com". They're the authorized reseller for Cambridge Soundworks, and sell refurbished speakers and subwoofers with full factory warranty for much less than the normal retail price. Right now I see several auctions for the Newton 10S powered subwoofer with a Buy-It-Now of $149.

Sorry about that, I didn't notice it's now discontinued. I guess they're beginning to replace it with a newer model/redesign. I have that sub and I've been really pleased with it.

Anyway, I'm not sure how good this sub is, but if the 10" 100 Watt that I have is any indication of the bang-for-the-buck ratio Dayton puts out, I'd bet that this would be one of the best subs in the $125 price range.

Yamaha makes very clean sounding low-priced subs.
All my stuff is Axiom, but they don't go for around $125.

Here's a link tho:

Just cause I love 'em
