GamePro free gift question

I suscribed to GamePro about 3 1/2 months ago. The free gift I was told I'd receive was a book called "How to Make Money in Video Games" (Or something simmilar to that). I have just received my 3rd issue, but still no book. I would like to know if anyone else has been in this situation and how long I should wait untill I receive my gift.

Your first mistake was subscribing to Gamepro. "How to Make Money in Video Games" sounds like a "get rich quick scheme." Those things never work.

I paid $10 for Marvel vs. Capcom 2. It's a terrible game, maybe I should sell it.

How to Make Money in Video Games:

1. Start a video game magazine.
2. Offer a free ""How to Make Money in Video Games"" book with paid subscription.
3. Never send said book.
4. Profit!

Seriously, though. Lots of those things take up to 8-12 weeks after you pay for your sub to get. About the time you forget about it is when you get it. If you've paid, and your payment has cleared, 8 weeks or more ago, I'd contact them.

I don't suscribe to Gamepro, but I get EGM and GameInformer. They are great bathroom reading material.

I've made some nice bank on old out of print games since I always seemed to end up owning that kind of stuff, but it takes way too much luck to be a business.
