DVD Talk review of 'Cinderella Man: 2-Disc Collector's Edition'
I read Randy Miller III's DVD review of Cinderella Man: 2-Disc Collector's Edition at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=19116 and...
Either you did not actually watch the film or you forgot that the aspect ratio used was 2.35:1 not 1.85:1.

I hope you're not the same person who sent me a rude e-mail with the same information, but it was a simple typo. In any case, it's been corrected so you can sleep easy tonight.

To the best of my knowledge, my comments were not sent via e-mail just simply posted in here as you can see above. It wasn't rude by any stretch, just factual. Also for the record, typing 2.85 or 1.35 would have been considered a typo. This was more like a brain freeze. It happens to all of us.

Sorry, didn't mean to accuse you of the e-mail---it was just strange that both the e-mail and your forum message popped up in the same hour, and both were generated from relatively new accounts. Again, I apologize, and I suppose it was more of a brain freeze. Anyway, thanks for letting me know about it.

Do you really think the audio track is a 4 star? Seems VERY weak on my system and from what I have read on other forums more people have noted the same.

Ratings scales vary from site to site (and reviewer to reviewer, for that matter). In my book, a four-star rating means it's good overall and has its moments, but there's certainly a bit of room for improvement. I agree the audio mix could have been punchier, but I don't think it's the fault of the DVD production---it's just a slightly weaker mix than we're used to, that's all.
