At long last! And now, the Dungeon Siege trailer!

Bigger than the Ep1 or LotR trailers, it's Dungeon Siege! From the acclaimed director of House of the Dead, Alone in the Dark, and Bloodrayne. Have some forks ready for your eyes, it's not gonna be pretty. (warning, VERY slow server)

I love the helicopter/crane/towering/sweeping camera shots to make it look more epic and serious.

To click or not to click, that is the question.

Is it just me or does Burt Reynolds seem totally out of place in his role in this movie?

I don't think so. Burt is pretty good in the comedy movies I've seen. This is going to make one great addition to my Uwe Boll collection. I pick 'em up used on Amazon... got House of the Dead for .02 -- ($1.67 shipped).

EDIT: Just got done watching the trailer. Wow. It has the feel of Robin Hood Men in Tights, but I think Dr Boll probably thinks he's making something more along the lines of Braveheart.

It doesn't look terrible.

(Doesn't look good, either...but hey, "Not Terrible" is pretty damn good for Dr. Boll).

I guess the question after watching the trailer is this:

Could you sit through 4 hours of that? Because that is the film's length.

There's no way it'll be 4 hours come release time. I'll bet the farm right now and say it won't exceed 120 minutes.

It's being split into 2 films. One is released the first week of November 2006, the 2nd part is released 4 weeks later, ala Kill Bill. They announced this about a month ago.

And no, i'm not joking!

Yes, but compared to Matthew Lillard and Ray Liotta, he looks like he was born to play that role.

I just read that "Farmer" -- the main character, not making that up-- uses a boomerang as his weapon. This is interesting because it explains how Dr. Boll is going to be able to work in the Bullet-Time Photography Super Slow Motion technique (ala Matrix) into the medieval setting. I knew it would be in there somewhere....

... this is going to be good.

Get a faster server and I'll take a look. I don't think it's worth the wait to see something like this right now.

I wonder why Dr. Boll didn't cast Rosie Perez and Fran Drescher in this movie. They would've made a good addition to the already great cast!

I waited, a long time I waited, and I finally saw the trailer. I must say, this will be what Dr. Boll is remembered for when he dies. Take that FWIW.

I have never played a Dungeon Siege game and have no idea about the plot, but something tells me that this mess of random scenes put together is not very close to it, at least from what I have heard. I hope Jason Statham got a major payday for this and laughs his ass off about getting so much for when he recollects his time in movies. I wonder if he is intentional in sounding like Russell Crowe from Gladiator when he says: "I will have my vengeance," ?

When's Bloodrayne supposed to hit theaters? I figure I owe it to myself to catch at least one flick by Dr. Boll in theaters, though I hope to be in an altered state when I watch.

I just watched this trailer and the Return of the King trailer back to back.

I'm sorry, but my expectations for fantasy movies are too high after seeing LOTR to stomach Dungeon Siege.

this movie looks out of place... set for an era of dungeons and fantasy... ray loitta and Matt lillard seem really out of place... freaking no accents.

really bad... this looks more like the transporter: Back in time
