this episode really pisses me off.

at the end, when the fire is spreading and the guy is trapped in the ATM vestibule because his sleeve is caught in the machine, the guy needs George's ATM card and PIN to get out.

WHY DIDN'T HE JUST TAKE OFF HIS JACKET?!?

i don't care how valuable the coat was, if my life is in danger, I'm losing it and running away.

What's bothering me is that Clark/Supe isn't concerned about Lois' rapid aging and drastically changing appearance.

Yes, but in this episode, he is in a locked vestibule; Remember, George and Mr. Peterman can't get in to help him (they have to slide the card under the door to him), so it is probably safe to assume that with his card having been eaten, the vestibule would remain locked shut.

Yes, he could have removed his jacket/shirt, but he would still have been stuck in there. Having George's card work in the machine would likely both free his shirt/jacket, and unlock the vestibule.

I had a different problem with this episode. Since when do people use words as ATM codes? Every bank I've been to uses numbers only.

I've always thought it stupid that he got stuck in there. Bank vestibules don't lock from the inside.
