What happened to Gran Turismo Mobile?

Still waiting on this for my PSP. Is there any news on it's release?

Doesn't look like it, checked a few game sites, release date just listed as TBA.

Last I heard was "early 2006". It keeps getting delayed.

My guess is that the rumor of PSP being limited to 222MHz is true, and that GT Mobile requires the full 333MHz to run. This would require a larger battery. Sony has already released a slightly larger battery, but I think a bigger one than that would be needed. My guess is that when they finally release GT Mobile, it will be at the same time as a battery twice the capacity as the included one, and v3.0 firmware to unlock the extra horsepower. That is just my guess.

I would think the batterylife/speed is the main problem and it is a GT game... it is totally expected to be delayed.

And givent the significant delays (years) in GT4, this delay could be quite some time.
