The Happy Elf

They say The Happy Elf is going to be a Christmas classic, is anyone going to watch it when it comes on NBC next month December 2nd? Looks like a really cute cartoon, I'm going to watch it with my neices and nephews. The dvd comes out on December 6th, pretty quick dvd release since it premieres on tv first. It is based on Harry Connick Jr's original song and the cartoon also features some of his songs and also he does the voice for one of the characters. I think its going to be a great thing to watch with your family this season.

i saw a trailer for this and it looked awful. I don't go in for harry connick jr. so much, but the whole thing just seemed cheap. The video box is flashy though...so that should probably sell it....

I am glad they are airing on television though...give people a chance to see it for free...i don't plan on seeing it, but I don't think i'm the target market. Anchor Bay is way to busy trying to sell me another Evil Dead dvd these days.

For a second I thought this was a Lemony Snicket thread... too bad it's not.
