Was this the first time Veronica got caught while investigating?

Pretty good episode outside of the Duncan and Meg stuff I thought.

I have to say I don't miss Wallace at all, they should just replace him with Mac.

It was weird to see VM all helpless and shit in the pool hall.

Duncan's dreams are getting weird.

It's always good to see Mac in an episode.

Logan almost lost the family jewels.

I thought that was a very solid episode.

While I feel bad mentioning other actors, they really oughta dump someone and make Mac a permanent part of the show.

If this show makes it to season 3, VM will probably be at SDSU and Mac would make for a perfect roomie.

I can't believe that you know who AND you know who will BOTH be in next week's episode!!!

Can't wait for that.

for the appearance of Mac.

Is Duncan on his medication again? He's acting in a similar manner (hallucinations and detachment) as when he was taking the medicine after Lilly's death.

I'm curious to find out what the letter said although I'm not too fond of Meg's subplot with Duncan. Hopefully they'll end it soon.

I'm with MrX in the fact that I'm not missing Wallace at all.

I absolutely lost it, totally cracked up at the Rocky Horror reference outside the VP's house. This show rocks.

I read someone speculate about Duncan and Meg:

Spoiler:
and that would be Meg is preggers with Duncan's child. Now wouldn't that just suck for Veronica?

I was wondering about that since I felt
Spoiler:
that the letter that Duncan was reading was a letter sent to Meg confirming her pregnancy.

Excellent ep, and I loved Jason just letting it all go and acting completely hysterical when they were playing Russian Roulette with his body. Just brilliant.

I love how complex this show is and how everything's tying together. Awesome.

This is my favorite show on TV right now - is there a smarter, more consistent, thoroughly satisfying and entertaining hour of TV outside of VM? That's a rhetorical question - of course there isn't.

Veronica Mars is indeed the smartest & most consistent show on TV these days. Bravo to Viacom for sticking with it and giving a chance to find an audience. I always hated the whole VM is the new Buffy talk but in a lot of ways, it really is. All I know is both VM & Lost get Tivoed at the same time but its VM that gets watched first.

I'm kind of confused on the situation between Logan and Weevil. It seemed like Weevil was expecting a call from him. Was Logan in on some plan or was he just issuing an open challenge to Weevil?

Logan stole the cell phone from one of the guys that were interrogating him (showed it briefly). When they dumped him, he did a redial to see who they had called. Weevil was on the other end, thinking it was the guys from his crew. So that let Logan know it was Weevil that organized the abduction, thus the return threat.

Alert for those in the Philadelphia area.....

check your listings!

according to tvguide.com, Veronica Mars is not on next week on November 30th on UPN 11. It is being pre-empted for basketball.

The episode is instead being aired on Sat 12/3 at 6pm and Sun 12/4 at 1 am.

I have mostly caught up on TV after being gone for most of the week, but this is one of the few threads I think I'll actually post in. I just can't stand not sharing my thoughts about this episode here.

Unlike others, I do miss Wallace. I'd be all for losing other characters if it meant more Mac and more Weevil, though. I really hope that the show stays where it is at, though -- I like how we get the Mars duo every show but the other players rotate in and out. At most, I'd like to quibble with the amount of screen time the others get. Among the tiny bit players, I want more Vinny VanLowe.

The way the episode ended hurt me. I want to know what was on the paper.

Spoiler:
As per the creator of the show, Rob Thomas, Vinny will be showing up again this season.

Spoiler:
Mac will be back again next week! Not to mention that Alyson Hannigan will be back as Trina (and not for the last time this season)! Oh, glory days!

I might have missed an episode I don't know but how did Meg survive the crash?

She didn't. Those were just dream sequences we were seeing her in this episode.

I'm still wondering why Dick, Beaver and the new girl are in the opening credits, when they all seem to have appeared in less than half of this season. I think Sheriff Lamb is on more than any of them this year.
