Whoa....GAMES? That would be GREAT....hopefully it's nationwide. I would load up on some PSP games and a few XBOX possibly. I could do some Xmas shopping too.

Woah, I think it might be time to burn the credit I've had for over a year from the $8 buy-back period. I'm not one to go anywhere near the big stores on Black Friday, but I'll definitely venture out a few miles to my local Blockbuster.

Also, pre-owned games are 25% off. So, 50% would be GREAT!

I called my Houston (spring, Kuykendahl & Louetta) and they said no go. She said "it could be that's just for franchise stores". I'd be interested if anyone found any stores in the Houston area with this deal.

I called my closest store, and she said there were no special sales on Friday. Oh well. It definitely had the sound of a franchise sale and not a corporate-wide one.

Any other confirmation on this, or just the OP?

The Bartlesville, OK store had the sale. I picked up WOTW new for $14.99 less the $5 gift card I already had when I walked in. Plus they gave me another $5 giftcard which I used on a couple of used DVD's which were half-off. I walked out of there with a new WOTW and a used House of Flying Daggers and Kung Fu Hustle for around $13.
