Whoa....GAMES? That would be GREAT....hopefully it's nationwide. I would load up on some PSP games and a few XBOX possibly. I could do some Xmas shopping too.

Does anyone happen to know if this promotion, by any chance, is also going on chainwide in Canada (or at least Toronto)?

I'd say call your local store and ask to know for sure.

Woah, I think it might be time to burn the credit I've had for over a year from the $8 buy-back period. I'm not one to go anywhere near the big stores on Black Friday, but I'll definitely venture out a few miles to my local Blockbuster.

Well, Blockbuster is also famous for increasing the price of their PV DVDs when they have a sale, so beware of not falling into a "sale" scam by BBV.

Can anyone confirm that this is happening at other locations? I checked with my local Blockbuster today and they shrugged their shoulders.

I kinda doubt they'll be selling pre-played 360 games after one day of rental.

I meant to buy...sorry They didn't have PD0 yesterday.

Also, pre-owned games are 25% off. So, 50% would be GREAT!

I called my Houston (spring, Kuykendahl & Louetta) and they said no go. She said "it could be that's just for franchise stores". I'd be interested if anyone found any stores in the Houston area with this deal.

I called my closest store, and she said there were no special sales on Friday. Oh well. It definitely had the sound of a franchise sale and not a corporate-wide one.

The Bartlesville, OK store had the sale. I picked up WOTW new for $14.99 less the $5 gift card I already had when I walked in. Plus they gave me another $5 giftcard which I used on a couple of used DVD's which were half-off. I walked out of there with a new WOTW and a used House of Flying Daggers and Kung Fu Hustle for around $13.

The Blockbuster near me in NYC had no specials today, but I did score a pre-viewed Disney Sleeping Beauty 2-disc special edition which is OOP for $10.

My Blockbuster had like 10 PV titles for $4.99 each. The rest were the normal price.
