Please Help Me, Hurry And Respond Right Now!

OK, I am 12 years old and I jammed our fairly new DVD player with a rented DVD and one of our own from a collection of Family Guy. My daddy, is absolutely FURIOUS! It was an accident, honest, but that's not the point. I need help, I don't know what to do and I don't want to have to pay for all of this and have my parents upset...PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO UNJAM THIS BECAUSE THERE IS NOTHING IN THE BOOKS AND I NEED A LOT OF TIPS! Please and thank you.

Need more info. How did you jam it? Did you put 2 d iscs in at once? Single drawer or multidisc player?

I vote that Daddy beats that kid for screwing around with his HT, then we go over and beat Daddy for letting a 12-year-old screw around with his HT.

There might be a small hole in the front of the tray that putting a pin through would simply pop it open like for cd-rom drives. Otherwise, I'd suggest using a knife to pry it open though I'm not sure if you're allowed to play with knives.

Easy. Just take the player outside and throw it on the ground. Perferably from a high area. You should be able to get the disc out with no problem.

The most remarkable thing about this thread is that it was posted into the correct forum.

Tech talk is for help with computers, not HT gear.

All I meant was this thread was originally posted there and moved here. It wasn't posted in the correct forum after all.

I just wanted you to check out the Tech page and see that.

Not only was it first posted in Tech Talk, it was posted in this thread:

http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=443350

I split it out and moved it over here.
