THX 1138 Best Buy Blunder

They have the 2 disk version featured in their ad this week. If you attempt to purchase it with another 2 for 20 dvd it'll come up normal price for both dvd's. simply say "hey there 2 for 20 in the ad" they manually overide the price and BAM! you got in a semi sweet deal.

This reminds me of when Circuit City had Das Boot for 9.99, but had the 2-disc director's cut in the ad. I pleaded with them for a few minutes and got the $35 set for $10, easily one of my better deals.

Yes, that is a link to the one disc edition that BB meant to include in the ad. The 2-disc edition, however is the one that is actually pictured in the ad, and it shouldn't be hard to get them to honor the price on the 2-disc, or to get a competitor to pricematch it.

Is that what you meant to write along with the link?

I went to Best Buy and that's exactly what happened. The THX (2-disc) came up $19.99 and I showed them the ad and got it for $10. I didn't see the THX (1-disc) though.

I also picked up I, Robot for same price. The ad shows the fullscreen version. After telling the kid, "what the difference, it's the same movie", he gave me the widescreen for $10.

Thanks just picked up THX and Hellboy.
Also while I was there I found the Ultimate Ron Burgundy 2 pack. I bought it but my wife is going to be upset when she sees that I spent 28 for it.

Saw the ad this morning and picked up THX 1138 2 disc along with Clockwork Orange for $10 each

When entering Clockwork into my online catalog it was listed as discontinued - in checking a bit more I see it's OOP in almost all forms

Are the Kubrick films getting another release? Didn't look like Clockwork was anamorphic..........

I don't know why I, Robot would be any trouble, there should be something on the I, Robot picture that says WS..
